It was built between 1298-1400 and in 1328 it was accepted as a Christian cathedral. The building now serves as the Lala Mustafa Pasha Mosque.
Famagusta castle has a bazaar where you can shop. In the streets you can come across charming cafes and restaurants. Beaches are a 10-minute drive from the city center. The beaches are clean and sandy.
