RENT A CAR TERMS AND CONDITIONS

General

At Dark & Blue Rent A Car, we want you to be clear about what you will pay for your rental. You won’t believe our low prices. There are no hidden charges or unnecessary insurances. When you make your booking, we will explain all charges to you. Providing you return the car to us on time, there will be no more to pay.

Traffic

Road traffic signs are on the LEFT (as in Britain). Maximum speed limit is 100km/hr. Seat belts must be worn. Drivers are prohibited to drive under the influence of alcohol. The limit is 50 mgr (As in Europe).

Collision Damage Waiver

Our Damage Waiver Cover allows you to reduce your Insurance Excess in the event of damage to the vehicle. This cover will be offered to you as part of the booking process.

Late Returns

If you would like the car for longer, you can extend your rental terms by calling us. If you return the car to us later than planned without telling us beforehand, a late return charge will be applied immediately and at each 24 hour interval thereafter until the car is returned to us. This charge represents the costs we are likely to incur in providing a suitable vehicle for the next customer or administrative expenses.

Insurance Excess

Unexpected things may happen. In the unlikely event that our car is damaged in some way while rented to you, we ask that you meet some of the cost of repair or replacement. Your liability to meet this cost is limited to the insurance excess. The insurance excess will be notified to you when you make your booking. You may reduce your insurance excess by accepting our collision damage waiver cover.

Parking Fines and Other Penalties

You are responsible for the cost of any parking fines or other penalties whilst the car is in your possessions. We will pass the relevant charge on to you plus the administrative expenses.

Changing Booking Dates

We are NOT currently charging a fee for changing the booking date.

Cancellation and Refunds

Once a booking has been made, it can be cancelled, however any fees paid are non-refundable.
